Vintage Baby Album

Hello friends!
I really really love this new paper!
It's Graphic 45's Little Darlings line,

The colors and sweet vintage patterns make my heart go pity pat!

It was so fun to cut out the adorable graphics from this line to make my own embellishments!

I would definitely rate this paper line in my top 5 favorite lines ever!

It was so easy to scrap with!
I also added a couple pages from antique baby book that I printed out to fit the album!

The colors from this paper line would also be great for Spring themed projects!

It is so fun and satisfying to create these mini albums! I love the process of designing each page and putting them all together!

Floral Mini Album

Hello friends!
I've been scrapping this week using a lovely
new paper line called, Miss Caroline by My Mind's Eye.

This line was filled with cool wood grain patterns and florals.
I purchased the 6 inch paper pad to create a paper bag album.

I loved the layered look of these patterns!
The flowers and dolies make me think of Spring and how ready I am for everything to bloom and bring sunny days!

I love how kraft cardstock coordinates well with
any paper and always has a nice vintage feel.

Pastel Mini Album

Hello friends!
I've been scrapping this week with lovely new supplies
and created a paper bag album.

I used the Howdy Doody paper line by My Mind's Eye.
A lovely new line that just came out! Full of sweet pastel colors along with wood grains and floral patterns made this line super fun to work with!

I dyed seam binding with Tattered Rose Distress Ink
to coordinate with the pages and inked the edges of the paper
with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Recollection's flowers from Michaels were
perfect for adding a sweet girly touch!

I just love creating mini albums!
It's such a fufilling craft project and lots of fun!

My paper bag albums usually measure 6x6, which is perfect
for use with the mini paper pads!

Crafting can be so theraputic and I love the feeling of excitement
I get everytime I pull out a stack of pretty paper and glue!

Mini Album Love

Hello friends!
I got 4 6x6 mini paper pads from My Min d's Eye's new paper lines
and made this album with the first pad.

The line is called Miss Caroline by MME.
A really lovely line in a very trendy color combination
this spring of blue, yellow and gray.

I used Hug Snug seam binding and distress inks
to customize my ribbon to match the book.

I also used Prima and Recollections flowers that I found at Michaels last week to coordinate.

One of my favorite border punches is this Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace punch.
I love using it in all my books for an added vintage look.

I listed this album here on ebay.

Favorite Paper Line Ever!

Hello friends!
It's no surprise that I love paper by October Afternoon.
Their cream based vintage paper lines always make me happy, but this line I want to show you today has got to be my favorite OA line ever!

It's called, Farmhouse.
Filled with lovely country and vintage antique patterns, yet so versitale for any themed project.

A whole sheet full of vintage button cards and grey gingham are some of my favorites along with a great sticker sheet!

I created a family themed paperbag mini album using this line.

This paper was so easy to work with.

I love the banner sheet of paper to cut out and use across the pages.

The vintage doily patterns are so cool!!!

I find myself wanting to hoard as much of this paper as I can!

I listed this album here on ebay.
Wishing you a wonderful day, Lindsey

Valentine Tag Tutorial

Hello friends!
A Valentine tag tutorial to share today!

I started with this sweet valentine that I printed on cardstock and cut.

I then gathered up a manila tag and some valentine paper scraps from Crape Paper's Paper Heart line.

I took a paint brush dipped in black paint and flicked paint across the tag.

Allow tag to air dry or use heat gun and then ink the edges.
I used Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

Then take a few paper scraps to arrange on your tag.

Adhere the valentine to the tag.
I then cut a lace doily pattern from My Mind's Eye Love Me paper line and adhered to the upper corner and added a little paper flower to the center.
I also added a banner sticker and Love sentiment onto the bottom paper strip of the tag.

I wrapped pink twine around the tag and tied off a bow across the lower half of the tag.

Add pink ribbon across the top of the tag to finish.
Simple and sweet!

Have a wonderful day, Lindsey
