My local Scrapbook store, where I work, carried this line. As soon as I finished this album I took it to the store and it has been displayed there ever since.
The fabric binding is strips of fabric which has been ripped and tied to book rings to give the album a playful look.
My favorite sheet of paper is filled with small frames with beautiful vintage images. White lace border around the photo mat to match the framed pictures in the background.
This album is supposed to be about the life of your daughter so these first two pages are for baby photos.
I enjoyed using bright colors for this album! Orange is not a color I use on anything but Halloween so it was great to be able to use it here.
Tulle is great for scrapbooking. It can be knotted like on this page or gathered and made into a ruffle border.
I used images of little girls from old sewing patterns to match the albums style.

Eeeek! I love, love, love this, Lindsey! You got what it takes, girl! I love the rags on the binding and I can tell you used pinking shears on the ends! I think that really adds a special little girl/vintage touch. All the deatail on every page are just perfect! the birdie tag- so sweet! Orange lace! Whodathunk?! ☺ I love this line of paper- very me, too. (Something tells me that I've commited a gramatical error.)
ReplyDeleteOh btw, I have my computer back!
Also- just started New Moon last night and stayed up too late reading it, too!
Have a great day! ♥
Lindsey! This is absolutely fabulous! My favorite part is the fabric :) I love how you just ripped it and kept a lovely shabby chic vintage feel to it. Those papers are divine too, and I love how you incorporated the vintage pics and illustrations. You are divine, my dear, simply divine! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - and the fabric ties are my favorite, too.

ReplyDeleteYour paperbag album is absolutely darling! You are so very talented! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. I love the vintage images. The dotted swiss paper brought back memories of my mama sewing me dotted swiss dresses when I was a little girl. I loved the little blue bird. You are so gifted in putting beautiful things together and turning it into something wonderful.

Lindsey, that is just TOO cute! I love every page! I myself just made a paper bag scrapbook of my granddaughter, Madison! I really love the built in "pockets" created by using a paper bag! It was so much fun! I'll have to make another one similar to your design, it's just so adorable! Suzie
