Just Fabulous

Hello friends!
I want to share with you a few cards I created using a vintage styled stamp set.

This stamp set is by Hero Arts and is called Sew Stylish. It comes with 3 vintage girls that are super cute!

These cards are available here in our etsy shop.

The scrapbook paper is also a recent purchase. It's called Hello Luscious from Basic Grey.

A very important tool in any craft room is scissors!
I like to do a lot of small, intricate cutting, and for that I always use these Micro Tip Fiskars scissors.

For cutting through thicker material, such as cardboard, I love my Tim Holtz scissors. They are made by Tonic and have a great soft grip handle.
Wishing you all a lovely day, Lindsey

My Creative Space

Hello friends!
This week in my creative space, I have been making tags.
For these tags, I dyed seam binding using Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar Distress inks. The edge punch I used is by Martha Stewart and it's called Eyelet Lace.

One of the most important things in my creative space is my paper trimmer.
I have tried several over the years and I now have 2 favorites.
My main trimmer that I use everyday, is a guillotine style trimmer by Tonic.
I have always thought the guillotine style is quicker and more accurate and I love this one!

Whenever I travel I need a smaller, more portable trimmer. I recently purchased this Premium Portable trimmer by Fiskars, due to an overwhelming amount of recommendations. I love it! It is very accurate and has a long fold out ruler.
I took it with me to retreat this past weekend and saw that most of ladies had this one. Most even said they used it as their everyday trimmer.

If you're in the market for a new paper trimmer, I highly recommend checking these out.

Wishing you craftiness, Lindsey

Weekend Retreat

Hello friends!
This past weekend I was at a scrapbooking retreat.
3 days filled with nothing but talking and creating!

One of the things I created while there was altering
this composition notebook in a sweet vintage school theme.
All scrapbook paper is by October Afternoon.

On the inside cover is a decorative envelope for photos and ephemera.

I love this argyle pattern for the back of the book.

This journal is now listed here in our etsy shop.

Here is a photo of my scrap table.

It was fun to spread out all my stuff and create surrounded by so many creative women. It was fun to just walk around and see what others were creating!

This is everything I brought with me. Does it look like a lot?
This is less than half of what most ladies brought. Most had at least 3 trips with the cart. One lady even brought a uhaul!

It is amazing how the whole room is a sea of supplies!
It was a lot of fun and I got a lot creating done!

I wish you a very lovely day, Lindsey

My Little Dog Layout

Hello friends!
Today's layout is using my favorite paper line right now. It's called Emma's Shoppe, by Crate Paper.

I really enjoy adding lots of layers to my projects and this layout really popped off the page with the additions of my white Signo gel pen. I highly recommend this pen. It's awesome!
This layout features our Bolognese dog, Muffin. He is our little angel.
 Always the perfect dog.
