Little Red Riding Hood

Hello friends!
This week in my creative space I have been working on a Little Red Riding Hood mini album.

I got this cute paper and sticker line from Reminisce and thought it would be perfect for an album. Not much paper in the line but I knew I could find lots of coordinating patterns in my collection.

This was a super fun project!
 I made the album measure 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.

To make the chipboard book, I took sheets of chipboard and cut it down to size. Then, I used my Cinch book binder to punch the holes.

After I finished creating the pages and gluing them down,
I cut the wire and bound the book.

I loved the giant stickers in this line. Makes for easy crafting!!

This album is available here in our etsy shop.

Wishing you well, Lindsey

Altered Canvas

Hello friends!
Today I wanted to show you this altered canvas.

At Michaels, they sell a set of four 6 inch canvases. They are the deep canvases measuring 1 1/2 inches wide.

I wanted this to be really sweet with a sugar kissed feel to it, which is our signature style of read and pink that we use during Christmas.
The paper I used was Cosmo Cricket's Odds and Ends line.
The cute blue and cream polka dot pattern
is actually fabric from a charm pack by Moda.
The cute stamped Button card is from a stamp set by Papertrey Ink.

The cute pink chipboard doily behind the button card is from Martha Stewart's new line of craft products at Joann Fabrics. I then added the little white keyhole from Melissa Frances and small paper roses that I picked up on the clearance isle at Michaels.

I painted the sides cream and wrapped pink seam binding around the canvas and tied a bow in the upper right corner to finish it off.

This sweet canvas is available here in our etsy shop.

Have a wonderful Friday, Lindsey

Craftiness

Hello friends!
Do you ever feel the need to do something crafty,
but that is totally different from what you're use to?
I sure did! I love working with sweet vintage girly colors
and I have a girly pink project in progress on my craft table right now,
but I recently felt a need to try something different.

So when October Afternoon came out with a Space themed Boy line called,
Rocket Age that was really cute, I thought, perfect!
I really enjoyed working with this paper
and created a 2 page layout over the holiday weekend using it.

It was fun to do something out of my norm
and I encourage you to try getting out of your crafty comfort zone too!
It helped my creative juices to flow and I love how this layout turned out!

This layout is available here in our etsy shop.

Wishing you a day of fun and craftiness, Lindsey
